Mars MetNet Mission Payload

The scientific payload of the Mars MetNet Mission encompasses separate instrument packages for the Martian surface operation phase. At the Martian surface the MNL will take panoramic pictures, and perform observations of pressure, temperature, humidity, magentism, as well as atmospheric optical depth.

Mars MetNet Mission instruments are divided in three sections:

1. Atmospheric Instruments
   • MetBaro - Pressure Instrument,
   • MetHumi - Humidity Instrument,
   • Temperature Sensors
2. Optical Devices
   • PanCam - Panoramic Camera,
   • MetSIS - Solar Irradiance Sensor,
   • DS - Dust Sensor
3. Composition and Structure Devices
   • MOURA - Magnetometer
